Welcome to ImGoinGreen™. My name is Susan and I am the creator of ImGoinGreen.com.
Let’s start by saying, I don’t consider myself a ‘green’ person. I’m not an environmental zealot nor am I a vegetarian, a vegan, or lacto-ovian. And I must confess, I became an honest ‘recycler’ only recently. But I do consider myself educated, street smart, compassionate and logical. The more I read and the more research I did, led me to the decision — I‘m goin’ green. It just makes economical and logical sense.
Getting information about ‘green’ is all over the internet. There must be a million websites that can answer any type of question we might have about ‘green’. But it was finding specifically what I originally was looking for that was the huge problem. Plus I needed a bigger picture.
I wanted to learn about solar panels and hybrid cars. What are earthships, pre—fabs or green roofs? Where do I find local recycle centers? Who are the real pioneers and visionaries of this century? What should I be doing now? Basically I was looking for a variety of information and an easy way to find it without getting lost. So I created my own website.
I have to tell you, the most surprising outcome from creating and researching the data for ImGoinGreen, was how absolutely wonderful I was feeling no matter how many long hours I would spend at the computer. The green sites I visited are so positive and uplifting. People all over the globe are working, living, building and creating inspirational lifestyles and products. There really is an incredibly exciting future out there.
